OMG *runs screaming*

I have a chapter that's kicking my ass. It begs to be cut, then refuses. It's too long, but almost everything in it is necessary. It's structurally weak but thematically strong.

I've been snipping at it all day and I'm ready to tear my hair out. I think I'll go for a walk.
