But seriously, the show was somehow better than its silly premise--it was directed, shot and acted--even written--as if everyone were working on much better material than they were. I got the impression that some very talented people had to work with a storyline that some lame-ass network executive forced on them in the delusion that no one would remember Return To Me or Ghost or even Truly, Madly, Deeply.
Mind you, I'll never watch Ghost Whisperer again (unless, say, Nathan makes a guest appearance), but it seems only fair to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the unsuckiness of it.
