For some values of "TV," so have I. I haven't turned the thing on for actual television-watching purposes for at least four years, and gave up my Netflix subscription a couple of years ago.
That said, when I do want to see something, I get it via my laptop, so it's not like I've totally given up television content. Mostly, I haven't seen commercials, and that fact alone has changed my life, very much for the better.
I've decided to keep the monitor, however. It was a goodish investment and I'm considering putting it into service as big electronic picture frame.
