This whole conversation has made me realize how mucvg I enjoy blogging here in a community setting, and the collective awareness of my particular community has led me to do some reading about data mining. My reading hasn't changed my stance--I still see more personal benefit in being data mined than in opting out--but I'm beginning to feel better informed on the subject.

Am spending my birthday in a beachy tow as you and Julie did a week or so ago. Rockaway, to be precise. Gorgeous. So lucky to be living in the PNW!
