Minor tragedy

Oooooh noooooo!

In getting ready for the Serenity screening tonight, I discovered that my digital camera has gone missing. Had it with me on my vacation, brought it home, now can't find it anywhere. I'm kind of an idiot, so I really could have left it somewhere, never to be seen again.

The question is this: am I enough of a fanatic to go out and buy myself a new one just so I don't miss taking pictures of the possible-but-unconfirmed appearance of Joss or a cast member?

Still pondering.

I've the same question as [livejournal.com profile] communicator; will they let you take it in, or try to bar you/confiscate it? Many digital cameras will let you film video as well as take stills. My guess would be that they're going to be really strict, since the film won't be generally released for so many months yet.

Maybe you could bring in a disposable 35mm or something?

Yeah, I'd thought about the possible confiscation problem, and have decided a) to let others take pictures, 'cause god knows they'll share and b) have another good look around my orbit when I'm calmer (i.e., tomorrow) and see if I can't locate the camera that I already own.

Saner minds prevail.
