In the elevator this morning
I stumbled into the welcome warmth of the building lobby. A co-worker dressed in a quilted jacket with a faux-fur lined hood saw me still clutching the collar of my wool sweater around my neck.
"They're calling it June-uary," she said.
I laughed till I cried.

Just one more word on the Mystery of 2012 book. They speak quite a bit about the weather changes and the distruction of the earth's eco systems in there. It's bordering the point of being too late for humanity to change things. It really puts into perspective all of the things we have been being drawn to like home vegetable gardening, elimination of plastic products and packaging, driving less so we are polluting less. Our Friday class on conservation in the home is going to be exactly what so many are waking up to. We are in the middle of the solution now. I plan on staying there.

I feel very strongly that the only action any individual can take that will make any difference is to be in the solution him or herself, and live it, and thereby teach it to others.
My mom, and Hel and my brother and I are all working on the shopping cart design, and I think we're very close to a solution--simple, elegant, effective, and beautiful.
I'm looking forward to our class on Friday!
