But it's the one you can't see on here that I loved best

See that little tiny red dot just below the equator on the left-hand side of the map? There in the middle of the Pacific?

No?

I care barely see it either, but it's French Polynesia and it's the best place I've ever been. There's a tall, green, pointed mountain on Mo'orea that has a little hole through the top of it. A local legend says that one of the Polynesian gods (Kane, maybe) threw his spear through the mountaintop. The spear landed, as I recall, on Bora Bora. And oddly enough, there's some peculiarity of the vegetation up around that hole on the mountain on Mo'orea that is only replicated in one other spot--on Bora Bora.

This ship was anchored in Cook's Bay when we were there. Picturesque, to say the least, but a strange re-enactment of the moment when Paradise began to be Lost.

Jewel Staite is too cute for words

A little pep-talk update on Jewel's Blog that includes "Just think of it this way: by the time the movie actually opens, you will be peeing your pants with anticipation..."
