Do you have an account on Dreamwidth?

Do you have an account on Dreamwidth? Can I friend you over there?

The latest news from DW (in a nutshell, trolls from hate groups are threatening actions to shut them down based on accusations of hosting child porn...*sigh*) is discouraging, but I love the calm, rational way they're handling it. It is in marked contrast to LJ's hysterical kneejerk commercial forelock tugging a couple of years ago under the same stresses, and it reminds again me that I'd really like to get more of a community going there.

So, if you're on DW and wouldn't mind my adding you to my reading/connection page, would you let me know in a comment?

I'm DarkEmeralds there, if you'd like to add me to your reading list.

Thank you! I've added you, and my little circle of friends over there is expanding!

Now if I could figure out the whole cross-posting thing...

:) I crosspost everything. it's not hard to set up - I use the web interface. Just go to "Organize", then go to "Manage Account", and click "Other Sites". You'll be able to add this account and set to crosspost by default.

Thanks! That was simple.

Of course, because all the service and cleverness and user-friendliness is on the DW side, this means I'll need to start posting by default on DW, and it will crosspost here on LJ, right?

You are exactly correct.
