I want, I want, I want...

My new boss has one of these PocketPC/Cellphone/WiFi/GPS übergadgets...



...and I want one. Really, r-e-e-e-e-aly a lot.

You know how you sometimes just see a thing and go, "Well, that would answer all my needs and make me a better person and totally be economically sensible when you think about it because the current cellphone and PDA have to break sometime and what ELSE have I got to spend five hundred bucks on this month, I mean besides the new set of tires, which the tire store said could wait a couple more months if I don't drive too often in the rain..."? You know that feeling?

I am thisclose. Anybody actually own one of these? Is it as cool as it seems?

It's very pretty, but I can't wrap my head around the idea of talking to someone through a PalmPilot. Make sure you hold it up to your ear in the store before buying it, to see how comfortable it is in your hand... and how dorky you look in a mirror. :)

Well, see, that's just it--I noticed my boss's when he answered it, and it was only moderately dorky. Plus? Bluetooth. I'm thinking wireless headset. I'm pretty religious about not holding my cellphone near my brain anyway.

But, excellent point. I will try holding my current PDA up to my ear and see how dorky I look in the mirror.
