The electrician is here with his assistant, installing outlets, switches, and light fixtures. Furniture delivery is scheduled for tonight. My sister is coming over tomorrow to help me start assembling it.

I should be able to move my bed back in by Monday. After that, it's a gradual process of cleanup, garage sale, fiddling, reorganizing, slipcovering, probably four more trips to IKEA for bits and parts, and the slow return to normal*.



* Normal includes resuming my online life, finishing Restraint edits, and hopefully getting tired of 2048.

The thing that cured me of 2048 was playing the super huge version because while it's fun, it's next to impossible to lose so you keep playing and playing and playing....

Everything looking likes it's coming along wonderfully! Yay for electricians and furniture!

I haven't run across the super huge version and I'm resisting now googling it. I think I'm running out of steam as I completely fail to get past David Tennant (in the Doctor Who version), "anal" (in the Teen Wolf Kink Icon version) or 1024 in the regular version--though I did hit 2048 once. Amazingly addictive little game.

I will be nice and not link you. I did manage to "win" a bunch of different ones like the Who one, I've done the Welcome to Night Vale, Chris Evans, and a lot of others. I never did manage to get to 4096 on the main one (technically it's possible to keep going and going on that one). It's a horribly addictive game.

I got up to some level of Cecil--not sure which--and then switched to Chris Evans, who doesn't interest me very much, which made it pretty easy to stop....for the moment.

I won't try to attain the Glow Cloud. That would just be needlessly dangerous.

Let's see...I've tried Doctor Who 2048 (got to David Tennant, couldn't get to Matt Smith); Supernatural 2048 (managed to get all the way to Mary Winchester, and I'm assuming either John Winchester or Crowley is the "winner"); Teen Wolf Kink Meme 2048 (I can't get past "Anal"); Chris Evans 2048 (the images had no meaning for me so it wasn't much fun) and a few others. Now hexagonal. Geez.

I'm pleased with the ceiling too.
