At the end of the tunnel

The electrician is here with his assistant, installing outlets, switches, and light fixtures. Furniture delivery is scheduled for tonight. My sister is coming over tomorrow to help me start assembling it.

I should be able to move my bed back in by Monday. After that, it's a gradual process of cleanup, garage sale, fiddling, reorganizing, slipcovering, probably four more trips to IKEA for bits and parts, and the slow return to normal*.

Roberto the Electrician installs a huge black IKEA pendant lamp in the black ceiling of DarkEm's newly remodeled bedroom

* Normal includes resuming my online life, finishing Restraint edits, and hopefully getting tired of 2048.

The thing that cured me of 2048 was playing the super huge version because while it's fun, it's next to impossible to lose so you keep playing and playing and playing....

Everything looking likes it's coming along wonderfully! Yay for electricians and furniture!

I will be nice and not link you. I did manage to "win" a bunch of different ones like the Who one, I've done the Welcome to Night Vale, Chris Evans, and a lot of others. I never did manage to get to 4096 on the main one (technically it's possible to keep going and going on that one). It's a horribly addictive game.

The winning icon for the is the Glow Cloud. You don't want to tempt fate and try to reach it.

Love the ceiling!

Love Hexagonal 2048, too: http://baiqiang.github.io/2048-hexagon/. I have scored 8192!

My record is 119,592, but it's much easier than the cube version, I find.
