Well, yeah. I mean, the Thanksgiving legend goes that when the Head Pilgrim passed the dish of olives around, Squanto, not recognizing the black fruit, first put on on his fingertip, and all the Pilgrims laughed and then they all sang "We Gather Together To Ask The Lord's Blessing" and then they ate the turkey.
