Good suggestion. I bought some heavy-duty kneepads in anticipation of installing the floor, but I hadn't thought of how useful they'll be in IKEA-land. I've only ever assembled smaller units like kitchen cabinets, which can be largely put together up on a table. The crawling-around-on-the-floor aspect isn't something I'm looking forward to. Padding will help.
