If you have a cat and have ever wondered about that potty-training system that's supposed to get Felix and Fluffy to do their biz in the people toilet, instead of perpetrating the old stinky-litter-box problem, you might want to visit my good pal roseambr. She's testing the Litter Kwitter system with her two cats, Cassidy and Sundance, it so you don't have to.

Check it out. She's journaling the experiment starting today with the first step, where you put a toilet-seat shaped litter pan on the floor next to the actual commode. She'll be updating as the experiment proceeds.

Fascinating. If I ever get a cat again, and roseambr succeeds in getting Cassidy and Sundance to pee in the toilet, I'm giving this a try.

The other plus on this system??? You can pass the training trays on to friends when your cats are all done with it! Kind of like a kids training seat! So, should that day come for you, you are welcome to it!

Your experiment has piqued my interest. We have two cats ourselves and I would love, love, LOVE to rid ourselves of the beknighted catboxes once and for all. So I'm obviously interested to follow this experiment if you don't mind an interloper.

Interlopers are very welcome. I'm excited about being without a litter box too. I hate it every time I have to buy another giant bucket of the stuff! Talk about your waste, it is an item that never ends and makes a mess along the way! And with two lovely pals it is even more urgent to be rid of the box.
