British place names are fascinating.

I think my all-time favourite has to be Nempnett Thrubwell. It's just so wonderfully euphonious :-)

Close second is Happisburgh in Norfolk. Pronounced "Hazeboro". Gotta love a place name with two silent "p"s :-)
