Well, the purple is, shall we say, digitally enhanced, but the evening did have a bit of a pink-and-blue quality that the computer could see better than I could.
One of my regrets is that during your visit, into which I know we packed a great deal of Portland And Vicinity, we never got a chance to walk the Eastbank Esplanade, which starts in the foreground and continues as that floating pathway stretching off between white-topped pylons in the lower center of this shot.
Somewhere deep in the sky's imagination, those colors were there, or else (I tell myself) the saturation slider on my post-processing app wouldn't have found it!
