Oh, very much so! I was literally agape at several points in the story. It was wonderfully tense and uncomfortable and moving, and the thematic construction of the script was absolutely marvelous.

Did you happen to see Endeavour, the one-off with young inspector Morse, set in 60s Oxford? I mention it because the writing of it--the sort of lovely, round completeness of it, was comparable to "A Life Born of Fire." It was a terrific show.
