I've just heard that vchrusch has passed away. I don't know any details--maystone has a little bit more.

Phil has been a part of my online life since the earliest Firefly fandom days. We always followed each other, in Firefly chatrooms, on LJ and DW and later on G+. He was funny and creative and a great fan, and above all he always had a cheerful word to say to me when I needed it.

I'll miss him.
