Guy next to me here at work has a counter on his door, today it's at 109. Instead of pulling numbers off, as he leaves he's sticking new numbers ON, so now he's got about an inch and a half of paper and tape jutting out from the door. Remarkable...
I wouldn't know what to do with myself. On the other hand, I'm 28 and have yet to actually start anything resembling a "real job", but I will soon. (This whole M.Div --> chaplain thing seems pretty real-jobby.)
So I will be watching closely to see what it is that smart, savvy retired folks actually do besides loiter in diners. (There's a story lurking.)
