In common with half the world, I'm attempting to NaNo this year. I mean, the little NaNo flower is left-handed! How could I not?

In less than 24 hours of NaNo 2004, I see that fourteen million words have been written. About 500 of them are mine.

Okay, maybe 200.

In my more metaphysical moments, I like to think that they're a form of energy, and that something of (etheric) substance is being built.

In my more mundane moments (happily more frequent), I figure it's mostly a big wank.
