Visitor Kitty
20/3/09 12:42For a couple of months now, I've had a visitor kitty. He jumps up onto the flower box outside my living room window, and because he is all dark gray, like a shadow, I don't always see him sitting there staring in at me. It can be rather startling when I finally notice it.
There's no evidence that he's hungry. He's honkin' huge. But I put some bits of people food out for him the first time anyway, because he was acting hungry and had a chunk of his very long fur sticking out at the neck like he'd been fighting.
After a few visits, he'd stay on the porch and not run off when I came out the door. Then he started running up to the porch from across the street when I came home from work.
He's wandered into the house--and quickly back out again--a couple of times when I've left the door open.
I tried to pet him and he scratched shit out of my finger. Last night he was doing some caterwauling somewhere outside my house at around 2:00 in the morning, suggesting that a) whoever is feeding him regularly isn't keeping him in at night and b) he probably isn't neutered.
Not sure what to do next. Probably buy cat food.
