Share my pain
18/8/10 16:18I thought I'd delight my friends with an excerpt from a work-related book I have to read.
Now, I rarely read anything these days (though I listen to a lot of both fiction and non-fiction), and my attention span is, admittedly, much diminished from its former glory. But this?
Change Management is aimed at designing changes within the scope of IT solutions in a controllable and efficient manner. SAP Solution Manager is the central application management platform for the operation of system landscapes...
*ZZZZzzzz*
And that's the very first sentence of the book. It was written in German and translated by a service, which may account for at least part of my eye-glazing. I think it means that this program in SAP will give us more control over how we manage changes to the rest of the system.
But damn! I don't know if I have the mental energy to translate every remaining paragraph in this 278-page book the same way.
