Hotmail.

Once a month or so, it seems to systematically strip away another function when viewed in my preferred browser, which is emphatically NOT Internet Exploder. The latest insult? It won't even let me open my mail--forces me to run IE.

We hates it, Precious.

So, my brilliant LJ friends, what free email can I switch to that works fine in Opera? (Meng-meng, I'm lookin' at you...)

Stupid Hotmail.

Um, Yahoo mail works fine in Opera, far as I can tell. I like GMail too, but it only works with Firefox so far.

Hope that helps!

I see Gmail's not really open to public fools like me at the moment. But the research I've done has turned up a number of free or near-free e-mail providers--none of which specifically states browser compatibility.

I suppose I could change to Firefox, but I adore Opera. It's beautiful. *hugs Opera.*

Yep, I love Opera too. And I've got GMail invites burning a hole in my pocket. :)

Does that mean you can invite me into G-mail?
