Fibonacci plates

Plates 1 and 2, finished. I ate my dinner off one of them tonight. It tasted extra good, too!

Plates 3 and 4, on which roseambr let me do some of the measuring and cutting of glass, are in the firing process and should be with me soon.

They came out so pretty that I'm going to install a special plate rail in the kitchen so they can be on display instead of hidden the cupboard.

Of course, that idea led to the one where I paint the whole interior of the house. Which led to how much I need a new bed-frame. And carpet in the bedroom. And new windows.

I should stop having thoughts. But I like my plates.

What you're seeing here is mostly Roseambr's skill and talent, though I'll take before for a pretty cool design idea and a fortuitous color selection.

I feel like beginner's luck was operating in a big way.

And of course, what Swype meant to say there (I swear, Swype has a kind of special aphasia) was "...though I'll take credit for..."

*eyeroll*

Unlike autocorrection algorithms, which pick a similar-looking word, Swype guesses at which nearby keys you meant to pass your fingertip over. Knowing that is the ONLY way you could possibly guess that "before" was supposed to be "credit".
