I score with the Kleins

I went shopping at Ross Dress-For-Less this afternoon to soothe my tattered nerves after completion of a system patch that involved my working last weekend and this.



Ross, for those not familiar with it, is a closeout store where leftovers from other, nicer stores go to be marked down in a jumbled atmosphere of security guards, dust, crowded racks and no discernible customer service. Sometimes there are some real gems among the junque, and today I totally scored with the Kleins.

I know. Winter-white cotton. Lame. But it almost fits. Me! Calvin Klein. Size 14. With a belt.

Thanks! Gosh, I hope so, since I've already taken off the tags and there isn't the slightest chance that they'll go back to Ross for a refund. Very motivating! :D

Gorgeous! I like them both but particularly the second one, which looks like something a Bond girl would wear, but cooler. The shoes are lovely too.

They're great! Although for the first one, if you swap out the jacket for [well, you'll see] different shoes would be better. They're amazing shoes, though.

Holy moley! It came today, and it's perfectly splendid! I'm wearing it right now and I really feel I ought to be smoking a cigarette in a holder, and drinking a martini. It is so le smoking and elegant.

I can hardly believe you didn't keep this for yourself. It's wonderful, and my very most favorite colors. I love the Tiffany-esque burnout pattern and the subtle stained-glass effect it makes.

As to fit, it's just wearable now, but will be perfect at about the same time as the Anne Klein suit, with the trousers of which, you are quite right, it will look smashing.

You know, it seems almost a shame to wear it over black, because it kind of disappears. I'm thinking I need an emerald-green silk tank top or something. That would be fun.
