The Ink-Pot and the Palette

Oh, absolutely. But life is short and art is long, and the low success rate of the hit-and-miss method feels more and more profligate to me as time goes on. Knitting is fun and relaxing in its own right, of course, but every failed project makes it less and less so. Many sheep have given their coats to my poorly-fitting, unfinished, and never-started projects.

Of course, this effort of mine is much less about whether the baby or the dog winds up with a tam-o-shanter than about improvement itself. That is the new craft under discussion.

That said, a couple of nice sweaters that fit will be very satisfying.
