You might have heard rumors, but I'm here to confirm. On thursday the 26th the studio is doing another round of hit-and-run screenings, and this time it's not ten cities -- it's twenty. It's another vote of confidence from the studio and another chance for us to say "thanks" to you guys for keeping this all rolling. And most importantly, another chance to run that videotape of me before the movie, looking so tragically sexy.

Which cities? Still to be determined. I could go again. How 'bout you?

So very frustrating. The Century 16 is the ONLY local cinema on Fandango whose listings jump from May 25 to May 27. No May 26.

All the other multiplexes have May 26 in their dropdown lists, but nothing scheduled for that day.

And www.cantstopthesignal.com hasn't been updated yet. I'll keep trying, but if you have any tips, I'll take 'em.

I can keep hoping for a Sydney screening. I see lots of people saying they have a dilemma about whether to try to get tickets a second time or let a newbie go. No dilemma for me. I find it hard to believe anyone NEEDS to go as much as I do. LOL.

I'm not totally insensitive though - I had two tix last time and persuaded my partner (has seen all of FF but would not be caused pain via missing out) to donate a ticket to someone more desperate.

Icon is of a flower I photographed in Thailand. Glad you like it. It reminds me of many wonderful things and some very sad ones - I left two days befor the tsunami hit. (I stayed on Phi Phi which was devastated.)

And yeah...I found that my desire to see the movie again seemed to outweigh any moral considerations. Plus, I'm the one who sat here with my finger on the go-button for three solid hours this morning waiting to pounce as soon as tix became available.

You are one of the holy ones, now that you've seen the movie. Joss cracks me up! I'm praying to whoever runs this universe that this means the series will be coming back to us after the movie wows 'em! So the reviewer at Serenity.net said he cried twice! No wonder you had that going thru the wringer icon! So, it was a gut wrencher, huh????

Very powerful, very wrenching movie and I CANNOT. STOP. THINKING about it.

Judging from the direction the movie takes, if there's a trilogy, the story will be completely finished and there will be nothing more to say in a series. I'm beginning to accept that the movies will be it.

Now to do everything possible to ensure that the studio opts for a Part II and a Part III.

I was up reading fanfic allnight Friday, then busy baking Saturday. Tried to get on the computer on Sunday only to find my screen was dead. It had been acting up previously, but I always managed to get it to work. We had a brownout on Saturday night around 9:00 pm so I shut everything off and went to bed. I think the monitor didn't like that and decided to just tell me "I'm outta here!". Also, a check bounced. Oh boy! The fun never ends. So now I have no monitor at home, and no money to buy a new one. Grrr! Thankfully I still have my work computer! I miss you! I haven't forgotten about the enchilada recipe, I'm just procrastinating because it's not something I have written down and I have to figure out the quantities.
