Gianduja squares

Recipe time. I mentioned these the other day and so here, let me share my vices with you.
Ingredients

Put the two ingredients into the blender cup:

Grind them into a sticky paste:

Pour into your little molds or candy papers:

Put them in the freezer for a while:

Unmold for handy eating.

The gianduja is really soft and melty, so store any uneaten ones in the fridge or freezer (they're delicious and still very bite-able when frozen). You might actually want to use a fork to eat them.
Chocolate hazelnut little freezer square candy thingies
Ingredients
- 100 grams of milk chocolate
- 100 grams of roasted unsalted hazelnuts
- Grinder/blender
- Molds (like these silicone ones, or little candy papers--something you can peel back)
- Freezer

23/5/14 21:16 (UTC)My grinder isn't capable of getting the nuts down to a truly silken liquid, like the hazelnut paste you can buy (if you're rich) from Italy. That stuff is produced by rolling the nuts between large steel rollers. But this comes close enough.
To gild the lily a little, I think I might try wrapping some of these in pastry and baking them. Because why not?
