The Ink-Pot and the Palette

I figured it out! The helmet thing. It was a gorgeous spring day today, and I had to do a grocery run (well, I needed yummy things from Trader Joe's). I've decided that I will wear my helmet for the most part, even on a quiet grocery run on neighborhood streets.

BUT! Instead? RIDING BAREFOOT!

I stopped and took my shoes off at the longish red light right after TJ's, hung them on my handlebars, and rode the rest of the way home looking, I'm sure, fairly ridiculous but having just as much fun as without a helmet. Only safer.

But boy do I need a pedicure.
