It's all over but the sniffling

I think I can see the light at the end of the flu today. Three sick days in a row is a huge deal for me and my coworkers, and only the fact that it's Friday is stopping that from becoming five.

I've cancelled my weekend and am remaining in self-imposed quarantine until I'm not so inclined to cough up a lung and break a rib in the process, but at least today I've been able to get some laundry done and open the windows to air out the sickroom without feeling death blow in.

All I can say is, thank the FSM for the internet, because extreme boredom would be a killer without it. Also, thanks to avventura1234 for the soup and biscuits and the medicine, which I truly would not have been up to doing for myself.

Actually, I started a long (long, LONG) SPN story last night and I must be feeling better because I kept reading till it was stupidly late. And I do feel better today. Smut, Medicine and Miracles. I tell ya.

Eep! I was hoping you'd be further along the recovery meter by now. :( And I HATE the coughing-up-a-lung-and-breaking-ribs phase of that kind of illness, so you have my heartfelt sympathies. Sounds like you're making the best of it ::grin:: and let's hope that with another couple of days, you'll be closer to the end.

(I don't think I ever knew if this was a cold-type thing, or a flu-type thing...?)

Seemed a little more flu-like than cold-like to me, based on duration, fever and ramp-down time. But who knows? I don't think the experts know.

Anyway, yay for it being on the downside.

Eep, the flu sucks! I should know. Did you get any Tamiflu? That seemed to really help with mine, but who knows. It was hella expensive though.
