The cords! Oh my God, the cords!

The home theatre in a box is out of its box, baby, and deployed about my living room. And it is excellent. Those giant elephant things in Return of the King make really cool low noises when they walk!

But there must be ten pounds of cords stuffed behind the credenza-thingy that holds the brains of the outfit. I spent at least two hours twist-tying them into bunches, and still...they're back there, having cord sex and multiplying.

I will check on them periodically and perhaps prune them back.

Well, it is merely an off-the-shelf solution, as it were. Any hi-fi buff worth the name would sniff and walk away. But screw that. It's a huge improvement over the tinny speakers of my TV.
