The Ink-Pot and the Palette

The novel, Restraint, is settling into the home stretch now. It's in three parts, each likely to be 50,000 words. Part One is more or less completely finished. Part Two has a full word count but needs a lot of rewriting. Part Three is missing chunks, and much of what's there needs work.



I have a wonderful beta in my friend owzers, who has generously audienced about half of Part One so far, and whose enthusiasm is superseded only by the FABULOUS photo-manip illustrations she's made for the story. Today kispexi2 offered to read and, I hope, Britpick the thing. My British is fairly good, but Kis is the real deal, and she can also nitpick the little bits of French, Italian, and Latin that crop up.
